NEW YORK, June 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- iStar Financial Inc. (NYSE: STAR) announced today that it has launched an offering, subject to market and other conditions, of $1.32 billion aggregate principal amount of unsecured Senior Notes due 2017 and 2019. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering, along with available cash on hand, to repay in full all amounts outstanding under, and terminate, its 2013 Secured Credit Facility due 2017.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays and J.P. Morgan are the joint book-running managers for the offering. The notes will be issued pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement that was previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
